Our Presentations Training Services 

 

 

Group-based presentation training

 

On-site training for 4-6 persons:

 

Courses are organized in a number of half-day or full-day sessions

 

60% classroom presentations and group exercises

40% individual hands-on presentation preparation and coaching  

 

Prerequisites

 

Courses for beginner and intermediate speakers. It is assumed that participants have had little or no formal presentation training, but need to acquire basic presentation skills for use in the course of their work. Basic knowledge of Powerpoint and similar office tools is recommended. A laptop is recommended. The course is given in English, although some exercises/individual presentations may be given in Swedish. Good command of spoken English is desirable.  

 

Course structure

 

  • Introduction to successful presentation techniques - what makes people excellent presenters
  • The golden rules of public speaking 
  • Powerpoint basics - The Dos and Dont's of the material you present
  • Basic techniques on how to present and project yourself
  • Group and individual exercises to help you gain self-awareness and practice what you have learned 
  • Assistance in preparation of a short presentation on a subject of your choice
  • Individual presentations by each member of the group with feedback

 

 

 

Individual presentation coaching

 

One or several days of on-site individual training/coaching:

 

100% individual hands-on presentation preparation and coaching  

 

Prerequisites

 

This training/coaching course is generally for individuals who present in front of groups or will be doing so on a regular basis as part of their work. It is assumed that the participants have presented in the past, but are looking to perfect their skills. Basic knowledge of Powerpoint and similar office tools is recommended. A laptop is recommended. The course is given in English although student presentations may be given in Swedish. Good command of spoken English is desirable.  

 

Course structure

 

The course is adapted to fit the level of the individual, ranging from new to experienced presenters. Therefore, all or parts of the following agenda will be used, depending on the level of the participant.

 

  • Introduction to successful presentation techniques - what makes people excellent presenters
  • The golden rules of public speaking 
  • Powerpoint basics - The Dos and Don'ts of the material you present
  • Basic techniques on how to present and project yourself 
  • Exercises to help you gain self-awareness and apply what you have learned 
  • Assistance in preparation of a real presentation of a subject you plan to cover in the future
